Babies Born in 2010 Tiger Year

According to Solar Calendar, the 2010 Tiger year will begin on February 4 at 6.49am and will end just before 12.34pm on February 4, 2011. The last time a Yang Metal Tiger year appeared was in 1950 which was exactly 60 years ago. Babies born in this solar year will have Yang Metal Tiger (G) in the year pillar of the BaZi. To most people, 2010 is simply a Tiger year. However, to a BaZi practitioner, 2010 is not just another Tiger year, it is a Yang Metal Tiger year and it has implications for the BaZi.

A BaZi has four pillars, hour, day, month and year pillar. Babies due for delivery in 2010 Yang Metal Tiger year, regardless of the month, day and hour they are born, will have a clash relationship between the Yang Metal element and the Tiger (Yang Wood) element in the year pillar of the BaZi. On the other hand, babies that were due for delivery in 2009 Yin Earth Ox year did not have this clash relationship in the year pillar of the BaZi. Thus babies born in 2010 Yang Metal Tiger year will have one clash relationship more in the BaZi compared to babies born in 2009 Yin Earth Ox year.

In BaZi study, a clash relationship between 2 elements is a negative trait in a BaZi. A clash relationship has the meaning of disharmony between 2 things in life. A BaZi that has many clash relationships is undesirable. It is a sign that the BaZi is imbalance. It indicates a life fills with obstacles and problems. In a more severe clash relationship, it can indicate that life may be endangered.

The actual meaning of a clash relationship depends on what the 2 elements in the clash relationship denote in the BaZi. The representation of an element depends on the element of the day the baby is born. A baby born on a Wood day will have the same element representations as another baby born on a Wood day even when they are born in different months. Babies born on different element days will have different element representations. In general, the elements can represent one of these things: self, siblings and friends, father, mother, wealth, talent, knowledge and thinking, etc. A clash relationship between 2 elements can indicate bad relationship between the child and father. It can also indicate bad relationship between the person and the spouse or even trouble with the laws. The effect and severity of a clash relationship in the year pillar for babies born in the 2010 Yang Metal Tiger year will depend on the other 6 elements in the bazi and how they are positioned in the BaZi.

Besides the year pillar, clash relationship can also appear in the month, day and hour pillar. Babies due for delivery in 2010 Yang Metal Tiger year will have a clash relationship in the year pillar. Choosing the month of birth to avoid a clash relationship in the month pillar and between the month pillar and year pillar may be difficult because pre-planning of birth is needed. Pre-planning of birth may not ensure that the baby will be born in the desired month.

The 12 solar months in 2010 Yang Metal Tiger year are Yang Earth Tiger (1st month), Yin Earth Rabbit (2nd month), Yang Metal Dragon (3rd month), Yin Metal Snake (4th month), Yang Water Horse (5th month), Yin Water Goat (6th month), Yang Wood Monkey (7th month), Yin Wood Rooster (8th month), Yang Fire Dog (9th month), Yin Fire Pig (10th month), Yang Earth Rat (11th month) and Yin Earth Ox (12th month). An examination of the 12 solar months reveals that all solar months will bring at least one form of clash relationship into the BaZi. This is in addition to the clash relationship in the year pillar. A few solar months will bring more than one clash relationship into the BaZi. The 7th solar month (Yang Wood Monkey) will bring three clash relationships into the BaZi.

Planning for a baby to be born in a certain year and month is difficult because this requires advance family planning and success is not assured. Despite this difficulty, one can still choose the day and hour to give birth using caesarean technique. Choosing the day and hour to give birth helps to improve the BaZi.
